In modern-day Iran, Zarina, a journalism student, heads to a park to meet her boyfriend Kamran, but things take a turn for the worse when she encounters trouble due to her head covering. Now, Kamran must find the missing Zarina but faces obstacles of his own.

The Concert (2022)
A film I made my 2nd year at SVA loosely based on my experiences growing up in an Iranian- American household. The story of Sara, an Iranian-American teenager who isn’t allowed to go to a concert, while her older brother Amir can go hang out with his friends. Amir begins to understand some of the frustrations Sara goes through and is determined to help her go to the concert.

First Dances! What Could Possibly Go Wrong? (2020)
A film I created my senior year of high school loosely based on my experience growing up in a traditional family. Leila is thrilled when she is asked by her crush, Andrew, to go to Homecoming. Her mother, however, growing up with traditional views, opposes the idea. Leila decides to disobey her mother's wishes and go to the dance, but things don't go as she had hoped.
